Caspian Gardens
On first viewing this garden I emediately noticed that the rather badly laid paving actually sloped towards the house. I calculated that by creating the correct falls away from the property we would have enough height for a substantial raised border. This has been constructed with blocks, rendered and painted. The coping is Trustone Glenmoor to match the paving on the Terrace. Set into the walls of the raised borders is lighting, four along the front and two facing the Paving Circle.
For the Terrace I have used Stonemarket Trustone Glenmoor paving laid in a Tudor Pattern. The Paving Circle is a Trustone Glenmoor Nautical Star. Edging the Paving a Circle and the Terrace is a double row of Stonemarket Black Granite Setts. The paving has been angled at 30 degrees to run straight into the seating area. A triangular Shade Sail secured to three posts over the circle completes the seating area.
Against the garage is a two bay Pergola. The three posts at the front are sunk into a border for climbing plants with the rafters supported against the garage with a back plate secured to the wall. Stainless Steel Cables run between the posts for the climbing plants to scramble over.
Between the Terrace and the Raised Border is a lawn. Finally the existing Water Feature has been relocated to the corner of the Raised Border adjacent to the Paving Circle.
The Paving Circle is a Trustone Glenmoor Nautical Star.
