Domestic Garden Contemporary Garden
I used the slope in this garden to create the raised borders giving it three dimensional interest. Raised borders make weeding so much easier especially if you suffer from a bad back. I also managed to source the exact paint colour of the conservatory to paint the walls of the raised border; this really ties the garden to the building.

The Sleeper Garden
This is actually the front garden which is about two metres above the street below so the only people who can see into the garden are on the top of a double-decker bus. South facing it catches the sun for most of the day unlike the client's shady back garden. So why not turn this area into somewhere to sit and enjoy. Click here to see more...
The Moon Gate Garden
The Moon Gate was already in this garden. The client wanted a design which was a bit edgy and contemporary but also complemented the architecture of the building. We provided them with a new terrace, then stepping down on to the path which leads you through the borders and the Moon Gate to enter the garden. Click here to see more...
The Pish Posh Garden
So named because one afternoon the client came home and exclaimed 'my goodness Mike this is all very pish posh!' The client had purchased a strip of land at the bottom of the garden to square it off. This new bit used to be a car park so it was a bit of a blank canvas. Click here to see more...
